Cubrin does not intervene in or alter agreed split structures after confirmation.

5. Disputes Between Users

Cubrin is not responsible for disputes arising between users regarding: failure of one party to reimburse another, disagreements over split percentages, misunderstandings regarding payment obligations, or personal arrangements made outside the platform. Such disputes are strictly between the users involved. Cubrin may provide limited support assistance but does not guarantee resolution outcomes.

6. Pay-for-Me Requests

Pay-for-me requests are voluntary and must be explicitly accepted by the receiving user before any payment is processed. Cubrin does not: compel users to pay on behalf of others, guarantee repayment of such payments, or mediate private financial expectations between users.

7. Fraud and Misuse

Cubrin reserves the right to investigate and take action against: fraudulent split bill activity, impersonation or manipulation of payment requests, abuse of pay-for-me functionality, or coordinated attempts to exploit platform payment systems. Actions may include: account suspension, transaction reversal where applicable, or restriction of feature access.

8. Platform Role Disclaimer

Cubrin provides a technical payment coordination tool only. Cubrin does not act as: a debt collector, a guarantor of user payments, or an intermediary enforcing personal financial agreements. All interpersonal financial arrangements remain the sole responsibility of users.

9. Changes to This Policy

Cubrin may update this Policy at any time. Continued use of split bill features constitutes acceptance of any updated terms.

Refund & Escrow Policy

1. Purpose

This Policy explains the conditions under which refunds are issued, how escrow is handled, and how transaction reversals may occur on the Cubrin platform. Cubrin facilitates transactions between users and independent vendors and uses escrow mechanisms to support secure order fulfillment.

2. Escrow Mechanism

Cubrin may temporarily hold funds in escrow when a user places an order. Escrow funds are held to: ensure order confirmation, support successful fulfillment by vendors, protect against failed or disputed transactions, and enable platform integrity. Funds are released from escrow only when: an order is confirmed as completed, or a valid resolution is reached in case of dispute. Escrow does not represent banking, savings, or custodial services.

3. Refund Eligibility

3.1 Failed Orders: If a vendor fails to fulfill an order due to unavailability or operational issues.
3.2 Order Cancellation: If an order is cancelled within the allowed cancellation window before preparation or fulfillment begins.
3.3 Incorrect or Incomplete Orders: If the delivered item significantly differs from the order placed or is incomplete.
3.4 Duplicate Transactions: If a user is charged multiple times for the same order due to technical or processing errors.
3.5 Platform or System Errors: If a transaction fails or is incorrectly processed due to a system malfunction.

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds may not be issued in cases where: the order has been successfully completed and confirmed, the user changes their mind after vendor preparation has begun, incorrect user-provided information leads to failed delivery, or disputes arise outside of platform-controlled processes. Cubrin may evaluate such cases at its discretion.

5. Cancellation Policy

Users may cancel orders within a limited timeframe before the vendor confirms or begins preparation. Once an order is confirmed or preparation has started: cancellation may no longer be possible, or may be subject to partial refund at Cubrin's discretion. Vendors may also cancel orders due to inability to fulfill, in which case refunds will be processed where applicable.

6. Delayed or Unfulfilled Orders

If a vendor fails to confirm or fulfill an order within the expected timeframe: the order may be automatically flagged as delayed, Cubrin may intervene or cancel the order, and eligible refunds may be issued.

7. Duplicate or Erroneous Transactions

If duplicate payments occur due to technical errors: Cubrin will investigate the transaction logs, and issue refunds or reversals where confirmed. Users are advised to report such issues through official support channels.

8. Suspicious or Fraudulent Activity

Cubrin reserves the right to: pause or reverse transactions suspected to be fraudulent, temporarily hold funds during investigation, restrict account access where abuse is detected, and cooperate with third-party payment providers and law enforcement where required.

9. Refund Method

Where approved, refunds may be issued as: Cubrin Balance credits, or reversal to the original payment method via third-party processors. Refund processing times may vary depending on payment provider timelines.

10. Platform Role Disclaimer

Cubrin acts solely as a technology platform facilitating transactions between users and vendors. Cubrin does not guarantee vendor performance and is not responsible for goods or services provided by vendors beyond platform-defined refund conditions.

11. Policy Updates

Cubrin may update this Policy at any time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any changes.
